Week 36

Okay, I know this is my 36 week post but can I just say for the record that today WE ARE FULL TERM! EEEEEE! 37 weeks!!!!!!!!!

Okay, moving on. 36 weeks. The week that will go down as the week I couldn't keep my eyes open practically at all. This probably makes me sound like a sissy, but I wish that I could be done with work already, just because I can barely keep my eyes open just sitting much less when I'm working. I am up 234234 times a night because baby is on my bladder 24/7 now that she's dropped. I usually wake up sometime between 6-7am and feel wide awake and then within 30 minutes to an hour I feel like I'm half awake. In fact, I fell asleep just sitting on the couch between the time I made Andrew's coffee this morning and the time he left. And right now I'm zoning in and out trying to focus on the screen so I can make this post. It's nuts! I've never had exhaustion like this in my entire life. I feel like my batteries are almost out of juice! According to my midwife, I'm feeling this way because of the overload of hormones preparing my body for birth now that we're so close. Sooooo, at least it's all for a good reason. I need to keep telling myself that as I drag myself around all day.

How big is baby? Baby Harnois is the size of a canary melon (so many types of melons, I swear!) ! Baby is 17.2 to 18.7  inches big and 4.2 lbs to 5.8 lbs ! Her skin is smooth and soft and her gums are rigid. Her liver and kidneys are in working order. Her circulation and immune system are good to go as well!

Maternity clothes
? YUP! I do have some things from before I was pregnant that I wear to work. At this point, I'm not sure they'll fit me again AFTERWARDS, though. Hahaha.
Sleep: Up. All the time. The usual suspect.

Best moment this week:
I got to go and meet my co-worker/friend's baby boy Brody. He was so precious and sweet. Andrew's even more anxious for our baby girl now. I also had my 37 week appointment on Tuesday. Still head down, heart rate was 159 BPM. Other than that, unless we go overdue, my last couple appointments are just making sure she's doing good in there as we wait for her to make her appearance!

Movement: Yep!

Food cravings: Still daydreaming about icee's, Mmmmm...

Food Aversions: NADA.

Gender: Little Baby Harnois is a GIRL!

Labor Signs: No more BH contractions, but lots of pressure in my pelvis.

Pregnancy Symptoms: Exhaustion, peeing a million times a day, a wonderful, ever growing baby bump.

Belly Button in or out? Out!

What I miss: A full nights sleep. Energy.

What I am looking forward to: Especially after meeting my friends little boy, I can't wait to meet her. I know she's got to finish cooking, but I'm getting more and more excited.

Upcoming appointments/events: My 38 week appointment is next Tuesday. OH! And our family shower this weekend.

Weekly Wisdom: Naps, naps, naps.

Milestones: SO CLOSE TO THE END I CAN TASTE IT!!!
