Week 35

Week 35. The infamous 35/35. 35 weeks down 35 days to go! This week felt really long. Other than being tired, my feet (left one specifically, oddly enough) are starting to decide they hate me. Just two color/cuts at work and my left ankle and foot are, like, triple their normal size and THROBBING. Also, my wrist has been acting up lately, too. It will randomly go numb on me? The end of pregnancy isn't agreeing with my career at the moment.

Sunday was Father's Day and it was really nice. I woke up and made Andrew egg bake for breakfast and we hung out for a while and then we went to my parents where I gave my dad a haircut. We left and grabbed lunch on our way to our Bradley class. We learned about breastfeeding this week and honestly, I didn't realize how LITTLE I really knew about breast feeding. I feel like I learned quite a bit and I'm a lot more confident to start breastfeeding little lady when she's here. Afterwards we went and picked up part of Andrew's Father's Day gift ( Mario Party 9, we're adults, I swear) & I ordered him a new blue wiimote. Then we went to dinner with my parents and then went out for 4 Queens because my dad loves his frozen yogurt. We came home and I held my eyes open to play a round of Mario Party with Andrew. It was a pretty great Father's Day.

How big is baby? Baby Harnois is the size of a head of romaine lettuce! Baby is 17.2 to 18.7  inches big and 4.2 lbs to 5.8 lbs ! From here on out, she won't get much longer, but she's plumping up. She will put on another pound or so between now and birth. Now, her hearing is fully developed, and she responds best to high pitched noises.

Maternity clothes
? Please and thank you!
Sleep: Up. All the time. The usual suspect.

Best moment this week:
Realizing that we only have a month left until munchkins due date. I had my 36 week appointment yesterday & our little girl is still head down. I don't know why, but her turning is one of my biggest fears lately. Her heartbeat was 156 bpm and I am 1.5 cm dilated. I'm not really taking anything away from that dilation because I know that I can be a 1.5 cm from now until 41 weeks, or I can got from 1.5 to a 4 in less than a week. I honestly planned on not being checked at all because I thought I'd get pshyched out if I knew, but really it doesn't phase me at all!

Movement: Yep!

Food cravings: Oddly enough, Cherry slushies. I've always hated artificial cherry flavoring, but I could drink Cherry icee's until my face turned red right now.
.
Food Aversions: NADA.

Gender: Little Baby Harnois is a GIRL!

Labor Signs: I had some Braxton Hicks contractions the other day. They weren't painful, but they were really uncomfortable. Andrew drew me a bath and it worked to get rid of them so I could go to sleep. Is there anything better than a nice warm bath?!

Pregnancy Symptoms: Exhaustion, peeing a million times a day, a wonderful, ever growing baby bump.

Belly Button in or out? Out!

What I miss: A full nights sleep.

What I am looking forward to: I'm looking forward to our family shower on the 29th, but really I'm most excited to meet our daughter.

Upcoming appointments/events: My appointments are now weekly, guys! I have an appointment next Tuesday at 12:45. The downside of them being weekly now is that I don't have much of a choice on day or times because they're so booked up!

Weekly Wisdom: Relax!

Milestones: Only a month left until she's here! YAYYYYYYYYY!

    1. thanks so much! trying to avoid our last few weeks/week/days as just the two of us, but we can't wait to meet her! I can already tell I'm going to miss her in my belly even though having her in my arms will be the best thing in the world.
